Meeting Santa near Woodbridge in 2026: Jimmy's Farm breakfasts from 28 Nov (£26 a child), a free Rendlesham grotto on 29 Nov and Felixstowe's Lions grotto.

The first chance to meet Father Christmas near Woodbridge this year is Saturday 28 November, when Jimmy’s Farm starts its breakfasts with Santa and Felixstowe’s Lions open their grotto at the lights switch-on. Rendlesham’s free village grotto follows on Sunday 29 November. Easton Farm Park runs a full Father Christmas experience in December, but its page gives two different start dates, so check before you book. Woodbridge itself has no grotto announced for 2026.

Jimmy’s Farm: breakfast with Santa and the Christmas trail

Jimmy’s Farm at Wherstead, south of Ipswich, published its Christmas 2026 events on 15 October.

Magical Breakfast with Santa is in The Barn Restaurant. The event page lists dates between Saturday 28 November and Thursday 24 December; doors open at 9am, the breakfast starts at 9.30am prompt and lasts about two hours. It includes breakfast, a gift for every child (and a bauble to colour in), a magic show and a photo with Santa. The farm’s booking page charges:

  • Adult £22
  • Child £26; every child meeting Santa needs a ticket and must come with a paying adult
  • Wildlife park entry is not included, but can be added at £18 a person

The booking page lets you pick a date; it does not list every date in text. If your date has gone, the farm runs a waiting list at Restaurant-team@Jimmysfarm.com.

Christmas Trail in the Park is included with every child admission ticket on these dates, according to the farm’s trail page: Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 November; 5 and 6 December; 12 and 13 December; 19 and 20 December; and Monday 21 to Thursday 24 December. It ends with “Santa’s magical show”. Child members get a free trail sheet and gift; under 2s need an add-on at £6.

The farm is on Pannington Hall Lane, IP9 2AP. Its free Christmas Fayre on 14 and 15 November is on our Christmas markets page.

Rendlesham: free grotto, Sunday 29 November

Rendlesham Parish Council’s Light Up Rendlesham page puts Santa’s Grotto in the Community Centre on Sunday 29 November 2026, alongside the village Christmas market and the lights switch-on in the Village Square, IP12 2GG.

  • 1pm to 4.55pm: grotto early session (marked TBC)
  • Before 5pm: Santa makes “a grand arrival” to help with the switch-on
  • 5pm: lights switch-on
  • From 5.05pm: grotto reopens (marked TBC)

The council says the grotto is free for Rendlesham children, that booking forms will be available from mid-October 2026, and that “spaces are expected to fill quickly”. It does not say whether children from outside the village can book. The market and switch-on are free and open to everyone.

Felixstowe: Lions grotto and the Spa Pavilion Santamime

The Lions Club of Felixstowe’s Christmas lights day on Saturday 28 November, 12pm to 6pm at The Triangle includes, in the club’s words, “We mustn’t forget Santa’s Grotto”. The lights go on at 5pm. The club has not published grotto times or a price; the stage programme is still “TBA”. More on our Felixstowe Christmas lights page.

At the Spa Pavilion, Santa’s Christmas Show on Saturday 12 December at 2pm is a 70-minute family “Santamime” set in Santa’s workshop, with Mrs Tinsel, Jingle and Jangle. Every child ticket includes a meet and greet with Santa, a photo and a gift. All tickets £18.50 including fees (Spa Pavilion). The box office showed 507 of 552 seats available on 15 October. The Spa’s pantomime follows from 19 December: see the Felixstowe panto.

Easton Farm Park: check the dates before you book

Easton Farm Park’s Father Christmas page, near Wickham Market, describes a full day: a Christmas show in its Winter Wonderland barn, Mother Christmas’ Kitchen, a craft session, a festive woodland walk, a pre-booked slot with Father Christmas in his grotto and a toy from the elves’ workshop. Prices on the page are adults £14.95 and children £26.95 to £30.95 with a gift, and a mulled wine voucher for adults.

The page has no year on it and contradicts itself: one line says “Dates available: December 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 24th”, another says the experience runs “on selected dates from 6th December through to Christmas Eve”. We have not listed it as confirmed. Check the date you want on the booking system first.

Not announced yet

  • Woodbridge School Christmas Market, which had a Santa’s grotto in 2025 (Saturday 6 December), has no 2026 page yet.
  • Southwold: in 2025 Light Up Southwold’s grotto opened at the Adnams Tour Centre at 5.30pm after the switch-on. The 2026 switch-on is on Saturday 28 November; the grotto has not been confirmed. See our Southwold lights page.
