Beauty and the Beast runs 12 performances at the Spa Pavilion from 19 December. Adults £22 to £26, children from £11, and just one evening show in the run.
The Spa Pavilion’s Christmas pantomime this year is Beauty and the Beast, and it runs for 12 performances from Saturday 19 December 2026 to Sunday 3 January 2027. Eleven of those twelve are matinees. If you want an evening show, there is exactly one in the entire run.
Every date, time, price and seat count below came from the theatre’s own booking system on 4 September 2026, not from a listing site.
The full performance list
The production is by Dennis Lowe Theatre Company, described by the theatre as a “brand new, unique and spellbinding pantomime adaptation of the beloved classic”. (Spa Pavilion)

Three things in that table are worth knowing before you book.
There are no shows at all on 21, 22, 23, 25, 29 or 30 December. The run is not continuous. It opens on the Saturday before Christmas, goes dark for three days, comes back on Christmas Eve, and then skips the two days between the bank holiday Monday and New Year’s Eve.
The 6pm on Sunday 27 December is the only evening performance, and on the day we checked not a single seat had gone. The 2pm the same afternoon was the busiest performance in the run.
The last performance has a smaller auditorium. Sunday 3 January is set up for 659 seats where every other date is 843 to 855, so there are nearly 200 fewer tickets in the room.
Selling is light across the board. The best-sold performance had moved 75 seats out of 854 on 4 September, which is under 9 per cent, so there is no urgency yet. That will change through November.
Prices, and what the price actually includes
The theatre says prices are “held from last year”.
| Ticket | Best seats | Premium | Standard |
|---|---|---|---|
| Adult | £26.00 | £24.00 | £22.00 |
| Concession | £22.00 | £20.00 | £18.00 |
| Child, under 16 | £15.00 | £13.00 | £11.00 |
| Family of 4 | £72.00 | £64.00 | £56.00 |
Concessions are defined by the theatre as 65 and over, disabled, carer or unwaged. The family of four in the standard band works out at £14 a head.
The useful detail, and it is unusual: “The prices above include all Booking and Moneyhandling Fees and are the total price you will pay.” The booking system confirms it, returning a transaction fee of zero. The number on the ticket is the number that leaves your account. Most theatres on this coast add a per order fee, so compare like with like.
The maximum is 20 tickets in one transaction, and every performance carries the note “TICKETS MAY ONLY BE EXCHANGED FOR ANOTHER PANTO PERFORMANCE”. That is an exchange, not a refund.
Access performances: none listed
The booking system carries a field for signed, relaxed and captioned performances, and on all 12 dates it is empty. The theatre’s own show description does not name a BSL, relaxed or audio described performance either. So as things stand there is no access performance scheduled for this pantomime. If that matters to you, ring the box office rather than assume one will be added.
Booking and the box office
Book online through the theatre’s own system or call 01394 284962. The show listing gives box office hours as Tuesday to Sunday, 11am to 4pm, plus one hour before a performance. Note that the footer of the same website advertises 9.30am to 6pm, seven days. The two contradict each other, so use the Tuesday to Sunday hours and ring early in the day.
Pre-show dining is bookable on a different number, 01394 336336.
Parking, and the seasonal price drop nobody mentions
The theatre is at Undercliff Road West, Felixstowe IP11 2DX, and there is an East Suffolk car park of the same name and postcode right there.
The Spa Pavilion car park is in the council’s long stay seasonal band, and this is the part worth knowing: the seasonal rate drops on 1 November and stays down until 31 March. From November it is £2.10 for two hours, £3.70 for four and £5.20 for the day, against £4.20, £6.30 and £8.30 in the summer band. The whole pantomime run sits inside the cheap half of the year. (East Suffolk Council car park tariffs 2026)
Two rules catch people out. Charges apply 8am to 6pm daily, including bank holidays, so there is no free Boxing Day and no free New Year’s Day. And the Spa Pavilion car park is not one of the ones offering a free 30 minutes.
For a 2.30pm matinee, buy the four hour session at £3.70 and you are covered to 6pm when charging stops. For the 6pm show on 27 December you only need to cover the approach: a two hour session at £2.10 bought at 5.30pm runs past the point where charges end anyway.
Blue Badge holders get no concession in East Suffolk car parks. The council states that plainly: designated bays are provided, but standard tariffs apply to everyone.
More on how the council’s parking rules work, including which car parks do give a free half hour, is on our parking page. If you are driving down the A12 or across from Woodbridge, check roadworks and travel first.
The rest of Christmas at the Spa
The pantomime is not the only festive show. All of these were live in the theatre’s booking system on 4 September:
- The Best of Bublé, Home for Christmas, Thursday 26 November, 7.30pm
- Jingle Bell Rock, Thursday 3 December, 7.30pm
- Neil Sands’ Christmas Memories, Friday 11 December, 2.30pm
- Santa’s Christmas Show, Saturday 12 December, 2pm
- Phantom Panto, Friday 30 October, 2pm, which lands in half term rather than at Christmas
What is still to come
The cast has not been announced. Neither has a running time, which the booking system leaves blank. Both usually appear in November, and we will update this page when they do.
