Jimmy's Farm low-bang fireworks 2026: Sat 31 Oct and Sun 1 Nov, 4pm to 8pm, adults £12, children £8. Plus Ipswich on 7 Nov and Rendlesham near Woodbridge.

Woodbridge does not have a bonfire night display of its own. It has not had one for years, and nothing has been announced for 2026. If you want fireworks you are driving, and the three realistic options are Rendlesham, Jimmy’s Farm at Wherstead and the big ticketed one at Trinity Park in Ipswich.

Two of those three have confirmed 2026 dates. The nearest one, and the only free one, has not.

Updated 5 October: Jimmy’s Farm fireworks 2026 are on sale for both nights at the same prices; Rendlesham has still not published a 2026 date; Ipswich prices are unchanged.

Everything here was checked against the organisers’ own pages and booking systems on 5 October 2026.

Jimmy’s Farm fireworks 2026: dates, tickets and timings

Jimmy’s Farm fireworks 2026 run on two nights, not one, and you book a specific night.

Saturday 31 October Sunday 1 November
Event Spooky Low-Bang Fireworks Night Low-Bang Fireworks Night
Hours 4pm to 8pm 4pm to 8pm
Theme Halloween twist, display set to spooky music The classic night, display set to music
Adults £12 £12
Children 2 to 16 £8 £8
Under 2s Free Free

Both nights have the farm’s resident DJ, Lee, fire eaters, food and drink, and a low-bang display set to music. Booking is through the farm’s DigiTickets portal, up to 30 adult and 30 child tickets per order. The farm’s line is that its fireworks nights “sell out every year”; it does not publish remaining numbers, so book rather than drive over on spec.

Which night to pick. Saturday is the Halloween-themed night; Sunday is what the farm calls “the classic Jimmy’s Farm fireworks night”, returning for another year. The ticket price and the hours are identical.

The day ticket is separate. From 24 October the farm and wildlife park move to winter hours, 9.30am to 4pm with last admission at 3pm, so the park day has ended by the time the fireworks gates open at 4pm. Nothing on the fireworks booking page says it includes entry to the wildlife park during the day; if you want both, book both.

No 2026 display time yet. The event pages give only the 4pm to 8pm window. The farm’s old “know before you go” page put the display at 6.45pm, but it is from 2022 (see below), so treat that as a rough shape rather than this year’s timing.

Rendlesham: nearest, free, and still undated

Rendlesham Parish Council runs the display at Jubilee Park, Mayhew Road, Rendlesham IP12 2GT, about six miles from Woodbridge. It is the one most people in the IP12 and IP13 postcodes actually go to, and it is free.

The council’s own fireworks page still carries 2025: Sunday 2 November, gates open to the public from 4pm, display starting at 6.30pm, with the line “As always, our events are FREE to attend” and a request for donations “to go towards next year’s display”. (Rendlesham Parish Council)

Parking is the thing to plan for. The council states there is no parking on site for visitors. The only parking at the Pavilion is restricted, requiring both prior authorisation and a Blue Badge. In practice that means walking in or being dropped off, and the village roads around Mayhew Road fill up.

On the date, the run of years points one way. The display fell on Sunday 3 November in 2024 and Sunday 2 November in 2025, in both cases the first Sunday of the month. The first Sunday of November 2026 is Sunday 1 November. That is our reading of a two year pattern and nothing more; the parish council has not announced it.

There is no sign the event is in trouble. The council’s most recent update, from its vice-chair on 26 August 2026, reports a well attended Easter event, the Rendlesham Country Show in June, a summer of Thursday activities at the park that ran to 27 August, and a £30,000 Community Infrastructure Levy budget approved for Jubilee Park this year. The fireworks are one of five annual free events the council lists, alongside the Easter event, the Country Show, Light Up Rendlesham and Santa’s Grand Tour.

One caution on sources. The parish council’s old address, rendlesham.suffolk.gov.uk, still appears at the top of search results for “Rendlesham fireworks”. Every page on it now redirects to a Suffolk County Council terms and conditions page. The live site is rendleshamparishcouncil.gov.uk.

Jimmy’s Farm: two nights, both confirmed for 2026

Jimmy’s Farm and Wildlife Park at Pannington Hall Lane, Wherstead IP9 2AP, roughly half an hour from Woodbridge, has two firework nights in its own events system for 2026:

  • Spooky Low Bang Fireworks, Saturday 31 October 2026, 4pm to 8pm
  • Low-Bang Fireworks, Sunday 1 November 2026, 4pm to 8pm

Both are low-bang, which the farm describes as a display set to music with fewer loud bangs, aimed at families and at anyone who finds a conventional display too much. That also matters if you keep animals.

Tickets are on sale: adults £12, children aged 2 to 16 £8, under twos free, up to 30 of each per booking, on the same prices for both nights. (Jimmy’s Farm booking page; winter park hours from the farm’s opening times page) The farm lists its resident DJ, Lee, fire eaters, food and drink, and the low-bang display set to music on both nights, and says its fireworks nights “sell out every year”, so book rather than turn up.

A trap on the same site: jimmysfarm.com/fireworks-night/ is a standing information page that still opens “Thank you for booking tickets to attend our Low-Bang Fireworks Event this coming Sunday 6th November” and is flagged “Sold Out!”. Bonfire night has not fallen on Sunday 6 November for years. Its timings, gates 4pm, bonfire lit 5pm, car park closed 6pm, fireworks to music 6.45pm, ending 7pm, are from an earlier year. They are a fair guide to the shape of the evening and no guide at all to 2026.

Ipswich Fireworks at Trinity Park: confirmed, ticketed

The largest display in reach is at Trinity Park, the Suffolk Showground, on Saturday 7 November 2026. Gates 3.30pm, entertainment from 4pm, fireworks at 8pm. (Fireworks Display Suffolk)

Early bird prices are adults £16, teens 13 to 17 £12, children 5 to 12 £7, under fives free, and the organiser says tickets will cost more on the door.

Parking is free on site, about two minutes’ walk from the arena, with Blue Badge parking available using a free car park pass. The site is off the A12 and A14 and reachable by rail into Ipswich.

Two conditions worth reading before you buy: the event goes ahead regardless of the weather, and no refunds are issued for poor conditions.

What we could not find

  • No display in Woodbridge itself. No club, school or town council event has been announced for 2026, and the town does not appear in any published Suffolk round-up of last year’s displays either.
  • Nothing in Felixstowe for bonfire night. Felixstowe’s fireworks are a summer event. The carnival fires them off the pier at 10pm, which in 2026 was Sunday 26 July. (Felixstowe Carnival)
  • No 2026 listings from the tourism sites. The Suffolk Coast’s fireworks round-up is still the 2025 edition, and several aggregator pages that appear to be titled for 2026 are simply reprinting 2025 dates. Check the organiser before you drive.

Getting there and back

Rendlesham is off the A12 north of Woodbridge and the last stretch is village roads. Jimmy’s Farm is at Pannington Hall Lane, Wherstead IP9 2AP, south of Ipswich. Trinity Park is the one with room: the organiser describes it as 300 acres reachable from the A12 and A14, from Ipswich town centre and by rail. The other two are small sites on narrow approaches, so leave early or accept a queue.

Before you set off, check roadworks and travel for the A12, which has carried repeated overnight closures around Yoxford, Darsham and Marlesford this autumn, and parking if you are leaving a car in Woodbridge.
